Its advantages versus a traditional thermostatic bath are the following:

- Water circulation system using an internal pump
- The heating element is not in direct contact with the liquid at the bottom of the basin
- It avoids the problems of heating element corrosion and scale deposits
- A uniform temperature is obtained, thereby avoiding the installation of an external pump, which reduces the useful capacity of the device.
